The Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL) offers students the option to study on its main campus in metropolitan Lima or on its extension campus in historic Cusco. With a dynamic student population of international students coming from more than ninety universities throughout the world, USIL creates opportunities for students to advance their studies, exchange knowledge with professors and students, visit tourist attractions such as Machu Picchu, and enjoy the country's exquisite cuisine. In Lima, students enroll in coursework conducted in English or Spanish in subject areas such as hospitality/tourism management, marketing, economics, international business, international relations, and culinary arts. In Cusco, students can enroll in all levels of Spanish language and take coursework conducted in English such as Art and Design in Cusco, History of the Inca Civilization, Biodiversity of Peru, and Photography.
Additional features: airport pick-up, onsite orientation, international student support, and volunteer opportunities
Located in the La Molina district, the Lima campus includes a library, Student Center, cafeteria and on-campus restaurant. The recently opened Cusco center is housed in a 16th century building within walking distance of the famous Plaza de Armas.
The College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), a partnership of colleges and universities—two and four year, large and small, public and private, domestic and foreign—encompasses the broad spectrum of international higher education. CCIS members sponsor a variety of programs, notably study abroad programs and professional development seminars for faculty and administrators, which are designed to enhance international/intercultural perspectives within the academic community.
